I have reviewed Recovery Bar on behalf of the FitnessUncovered readers, go into the supplement section to locate the full review.

In brief; The bar is chewy but nice tasting. There is a mixture of protein and carbohydrates so from a recovery standpoint the nutrition seems sound. I would however look for more cost effect methods which may be suitable, such as maltodextrin and whey protein mixed in water, which will do the same trick for much cheaper. As a quick and pleasent tasting solution, the recovery bar is a sound product.

In brief; VERY tasty flapjacks, and meant as an energy replenisher as far as I can see. At this price, there are more cost effective options out there, however.

In brief; D-FINE is a pleasent tasting, quality whey protein supplement. The only thing to watch out for is the price, but if you can find DFINE at a reasonable price I would recommend it.

Used this for 80 days. Weight - 13.2 stone (184 lbs) - 13.7 stone (189 lbs)

Strength - 9/10, Very nice, this gave me a big boost and i can safely say while on this was my best 12 weeks of training ever. Strength increases came on all exercise but most noticeably on:

Bench press: 62.5kg - 75kg Added 12.25 kg
BB shoulder press: 45kg - 57.5kg Added 12.25kg
Deadlifts: 100kg - 130kg Added 20kg

Taste - 6/10 i got sour green apple tasted ok, green mag also comes in green lemonade which i would imagine would be a nicer flavour.

Mixibility - 10/10 a quick 10 secs in shaker does the trick.

Value - 7/10 £30, £2.50 a week, for the gains i got, this was good value for money, but i would like to see some type of energy ingrediant(s) added to this, as this doesnt give any type of pre workout boost, like i would like.

Use again - Yes, running another tub of this, when i get it as soon as possible, will prob do another log.

Recommend it - Like i said above ’i can safely say while on this was my best 12 weeks of training ever.’ I would especially recommend this if you have not had any joy with mono or cee.

Overall - 8/10

The quality of the product appears very good, mixes well and tastes good. As with protein shakes, its hard to assess the effectiveness, it needs to be combined with a good solid diet. Value for money has to be very poor. 3 shakes per day and this tub lasts you only 10 days!!!! Paying for the name i feel.............

Tried pro-mass in chocolate. It doesn’t mix well and doesn’t taste that well either. Results were minimal

Promax is a decent product but way too overpriced for what it is with many alternatives at fraction of the price and just as good.Taste is a personal preference but in Vanilla flavour it was un-drinkable, chocolate & strawberry was ok tho.

I did one cycle on Hyperdrol x2 and made very good strength gains altho not so much size wise. Well worth the money and watching your lifts go up aswell as your ego.

This is the best weight gainer I’ve tried to date.
