Preperation/body position

  1. Find dumbbell of a suitable weight for you to execute the hold.
  2. Grasp dumbbells in each hand.
  3. Keep torso erect, and back straight.

Excution/Movement

  1. Hold onto dumbbells for desired amount of time. Keeping back straight and good body posture throughout execution.

Comments

An effective exercise to work on overall grip strength.

Progressively add greater resistance over time by performing the static hold with heavier dumbbells, or holding the dumbbells for a greater amount of time.
