Preperation/body position

  1. Find dumbbell of a suitable weight for you to execute the movement.
  2. Grasp dumbbells in each hand.
  3. Keep torso erect, and back straight.

Excution/Movement

  1. Whilst holding onto dumbbells, walk for desired distance or desired amount of time. Keeping back straight and good body posture throughout execution.

Comments

The farmers walk is the bread and butter grip discipline, used commonly in many strongman events of a measure of grip strength.

Progressively add greater resistance over time by performing the farmers walk with heavier dumbbells, or holding the dumbbells for a greater amount of time.
