Bodybuilding Diets

Bodybuilding diets

After a hard weight training session the body requires the correct nutrients to go about repairing and building muscle tissue. Most people know about the importance of protein intake when it comes to building muscle, but vitamins and minerals, carbohydrates and dietary fats are also essential for recovery, general wellbeing and energy levels in the gym.

New and intermediate gym-goers who want to enhance their physique will generally see great results from following a good training plan and eating several 'clean', balanced meals a day. Advanced trainers on the other hand will typically periodise their goals; with a 'bulking' phase and a 'cutting' phase.
